morning and evening

It’s like my own personal art exhibit resides just outside my backyard.

In the sky.

There is a new showing every morning…

and every evening:

How cool is that?  Admission is even free.

Happy weekend everybody!

  1. Wow!! Gorgeous pics!! You are a wonderful photographer and God is such an amazing creator. He always gives us amazing beauty all around us and too often we really don’t enjoy it because we are too busy. Thank you for the reminder for us to slow down and enjoy the beauty around us!!

  2. I love it! I’ve been wanting to get a moon shot for sometime but can’t figure out how… maybe you can e-mail me your secrets 🙂 Did you shot in manual, with a tri-pod?

  3. summer – thanks so much! it is always good to slow down for a minute. you never know what you’ll notice! 😉

tara – thanks! i did shoot in manual, and sortof used a tripod – i brought my barstool outside and that didn’t give me enough height, so i placed a fridge pack of dr. pepper on the horizontal, and held my camera on top of that, hahaha!
here’s the more scientific details if any of that makes sense. i’m hardly sure what i did when i look at all that, haha! and i have a loooong way to go with my moon shots – check out this group on Flickr. now THOSE are some moon shots!

  4. so… i went grocery shopping last night, and was like, “oooo! maybe i could try to make lemon-olive-pasta-scrumptious-delight.” only to discover that lemons only came in bushels for $4… maybe i’ll wait for roommate night to make it… good things come to those who wait, right?

  5. thanks… yep the scientific details makes sense… thanks 🙂

Those are some really cool shots on that group. The close up shots made me wish for a new lens all over again 🙂
