The day: Saturday.
The time: 5:30 am.
The event: our garage sale.
Made some goodies to sell, too, of course:
(See waaaaay below for the Kettle Corn recipe – YUM.)
(These are THE cupcakes,yo!)
And some of my best customers so far:
They kinda tried to talk me down in price.
It’s almost sad, selling these.
But I guess this makes up for it.
Kettle Corn Recipe
Salty, sweet, crunchy, addicting. The best snack EVER.
ever so slightly tweaked from a recipe found on allrecipes.com
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- kosher salt to taste
Place popcorn kernels, oil and sugar in a large dutch oven over medium heat and cover. Shake pot constantly to avoid nasty burnt popcorn. When popping slows, take pot off heat and transfer popcorn to a large bowl. Sprinkle salt over to taste.
Sell at your next garage sale.
Happy Saturday, everybody!
